Safeguarding
Every class is taught live by a teacher. Students can only message in the class chat during a lesson, which the whole class and the teacher can see. There are no private messages between students. We only share identifiable student work publicly with a parent’s consent.

Do I need any coding experience?
No. Python and Software Engineering Basics both welcome beginners of all ages. We can discuss a suitable starting level if you already have experience.
What could I build?
Python projects range from games to data investigations and AI tools. Software Engineering Basics projects include websites, quizzes, and browser apps. These are possible projects, not student work.
How will I know they are making progress?
After every class the teacher writes a note: what your child worked on, what the teacher noticed and the next step. Parents sign in to the learning platform to see classes, attendance, teacher notes and progress against each level’s objectives.
Will students use AI tools?
AI is part of the final level of each course. In Python Level 5, students explore pretrained models and build grounded AI tools. In Software Engineering Basics Level 5, they plan, build, test and explain their own AI-assisted app. A teacher leads every class live.
Where and when do classes take place?
Codelah teaches small live classes on its own learning platform, for all ages. Each class lasts 1.5 hours, with up to 4 students. We agree a class time with your family first.
What are the fees?
Every family starts with a free trial class. After that, lessons come in packs of 5. The promotional price is $60 a lesson ($300 a pack), normally $75 a lesson ($375 a pack).
